The Learning Curve

For ten years, I've asked the Pres to place the huge pasta board under the grill whenever cooks on something other than the stovetop.  Why? 

For some reason, when the Pres cooks and uses a frying pan on the stove, he turns the burners or grill on HIGH.  Then it's let the spitting begin...the bacon grease, the sausage grease, the melting butter, the boiling spaghetti sauce...whatever he's cooking splatters everywhere...making cleaning up a nightmare!  Since I clean, I asked.

The other morning...this is what I saw when I came into the kitchen.  Scary, right?
