The Calm
Finding this pic in the archives, I thought it would be a perfect depiction of the "calm before Henri". Yet, because of the arrival of Henri, New England's category 1 hurricane that made landfall Sunday the 22nd, I didn't have a chance to babysit for my grand-dog, Harley. Of course, I was disappointed but not as much as my son, DIL and granddaughter that they had to cancel their plans. Yes, they're rescheduled and yes, I've committed to spending a few days with Harley Jean! She is so well trained that when you put her food down for her, she won't touch it or go near the bowl until you say, "Give me a kiss."
