Shopping Early
Looking out the kitchen window this past weekend, I couldn't help but notice the pair of Eastern Bluebirds making a fuss about one of our nesting boxes. Turning to the Pres and asking him if he'd cleaned out the nesting boxes, he said, "I think I got them all. Why?"
"Because there's a couple of Easterns here making a big fuss about this nesting box. I guess they're marking it for the Spring, although they do Winter over."

My question is this:
Is shopping early a sign of a prosperous Spring nesting or a bad Winter?
