Winter Confusion
Preparing the yard for the upcoming Winter seems to get more involved each year. Last year, while we thought that draping deer netting over most of the shrubs would deter "them", we saw where we failed when Spring arrived. "They" simply ate anything and everything that protruded through the netting, let alone all the tops of the shrubs! So, this year, the Pres ordered burlap to wrap the hydrangeas before we place the fencing around them along with the azaleas, holly and viburnums.
