Lifting the Fog
While the day this photo was taken has nothing to do with the story, I thought it would be a good fit. You see...earlier this month my sister had cataract surgery. She did well and the surgery was next to miraculous for her. When her BFF called to let me know how she was doing, she said, "JP, your sister is tickled pink over what she can see already." (Yes, it brought tears to my yes.)
Talking to her while she healed, she equated cataracts to fog, hence the photo.
Well, this week, I am very happy to report that my sister went to get the second eye done. Again, the surgery and my sister both did well. For her, I am thankful.
