A Little Too Late

Can you see the ocean in the distance?

That's where I'd come from.  Now I was going to head home.  However (there's that word again), I've been meaning to stop in at the Bird Sanctuary which is right down the road from the beach. So, I did.

 To my dismay, they were closed.  It was 5:20 pm.  However, now that I know what their hours are, I am planning a visit...soon.

Look at the rows and rows of nesting boxes in this field located at the sanctuary.

I can hardly imagine the traffic there in the Spring!  Part of their 325 acre parcel which is a nature preserve that overlooks the ocean.

Another adventure...
