Think Outside The Box
Enabling the Pres and I to hit the road a little earlier than planned, the decision to blow off the gym yesterday worked out well. Our destination was Newport and the reason was a good one...lunch with my daughter and her honey.
Although we began our drive following our normal route, thinking outside the box ,we deviated here and there.
Hmmmm...a new spot for kayaking???, was my thought as I heard the Pres say,
"Did you get the reflection of the trees? We could wait for the sun to come out so you could get a better shot."
Of course, once we got closer to Newport, the scenery changed.
Highways, speeding vehicles and the local police were now the focus...
but not for long.
Bays, boats and bright, beautiful, sunny skies with the final bridge in the distance meant we were almost there.

Oh, one more thing. And then there was LUNCH, which was definitely thinking outside the box!
