A Sparkling Day
The first lake I had planned on going to was too civilized. Dotted with houses all along the shore shore, I decided that that one just wasn't for me. I mean really...did I want to look at people's houses and yards?...not my idea of fun so I climbed back in the car and headed for my next choice. Then it was my wheels that I use to pull the kayak up and down rocky terrain...soft, spongy, almost flat tires!! So after I overcame that hurdle, when I went to slip my cell phone into the waterproof case, the case broke!! At that point, I didn't care about the case and I just climbed into the kayak and shoved off from shore.
However, while just about everything went wrong before I got out on the water, it turned out to be a sparkling day as I paddled and explored for hours.
