Seclusion
When we scoot up to Newport, we are fortunate in that we go to the "residents only" beach because my daughter and Angel have passes for each of their cars.
Away from the hustle and bustle it's seclusion is a perfect spot for relaxing.
Her days off are usually during the week which makes it even a better time to head to our spot.
Taken around 10:30 on a Thursday morning, as you can see, with the exception of the Piping Plovers, we pretty much had the place to ourselves.
The skies are always magnificent. Clouds roll by as the waves roll onto shore with their gentle splash. When Summer is over, I am going to take a stroll over to the nearby bird sanctuary.
