And Then I Cried

When people tell you nice things, does it ever make you want to cry?

Well, that's what happened to me the night I went to the reunion.

When I first met her, she was only about eighteen.  Working in a satellite office of mine as a teller, there was just something about her that made me know she would be the right one for the job.  And I was right.

Watching her grow and hearing about her promotions within the banking industry, I was always so proud of her.  Today, she heads several divisions in a bank.

The night of our reunion, she thanked me.

Thinking about our conversation while driving home, I cried.

She blossomed beautifully, has two sons, one of whom is called
