Vanishing Critters
Surrounded by woods here, the trees and other vegetation not only offer shelter to many animals, but also give me the opportunity to watch them. Almost daily, I see the small herd of deer that tiptoe through the brush looking for something to nibble on.
Spotting me through the slider, the doe stops while I remain motionless watching her. The others have moved on. Then deciding it's safe, she joins the herd,vanishing once again.
