FAIRY TRAILS
not TALES...TRAILS!
Our walk at Goodwin last week, although only a few miles, revealed some very interesting things. First we walked along the Discovery Trail only to find that while "all the fairies had moved South,"
their homes, wedding arch and other amenities were still in tact!
You see, Discovery Trail was created for children in an effort that they would "discover" the great outdoors rather than a new TV channel or video game.
Making our way through the forest, we saw a set of antlers lying at the base of a tree with "scrapes and rubs," an overturned turtle shell, now used for water by the fairies (when they're back from the South).
While the "buildings" set up for the fairies are made by the crew at Goodwin, I got some great ideas for Percy's place here in the yard.
