Artists....Even In The Woods
Coming across a rotting tree trunk, I noticed the beautifully patterned mushrooms growing on the sides. They were huge! Sure, the forest was perfect here for growing them...dark, moist with lots of organic matter nurturing them.
Then getting down on my hands and knees to take a pic from a different angle, I found this....
Pure white...an awesome coating that appeared almost chalk like!
Going to Google once I got home while it was still fresh in my mind, I found these....
Did you know that mushrooms are called the Robin Hoods of the forest because of their benefits?
