Who Knew?

Last week while at the Big E,** we headed to the the livestock barn as always.
Walking among the various entries and watching the well groomed cows and cattle chew their cud as they waited for their turn to be judged, I spotted (pardon the pun) this beauty.

Totally taken aback by her spots, I approached the groomer.  The conversation went like this:


ME:  Excuse me sir, is this a particular breed that all her spots are outlined in gray?

GROOMER:  No ma'am.  The hair is just cut and shaved closer to the skin to accentuate the markings.

Did you know that?  I didn't.
