Fair Fences

Approaching the ring, I felt the excitement building.  It so reminded me of when we would go to shows as a kid.

My cousin rode English and I rode Western.  Having many fond memories of being around our horses daily, it is something I will always remember.  Although I never competed, my younger cousin did.

There's nothing like leaning on a fence that borders a riding ring for a perfect view of the young riders and their mounts.

Scenes such as this make me realize my love of horses will always be, so asking the Pres to head down to the riding ring was no surprise to him.

Sure, they're a lot of work, yet the rewards are endless.
