Virtual Touring
A few weeks ago my friend Nina, from Thoughts and Images Along The Way, invited me to take part in a VIRTUAL BLOG TOUR with her. "The whole idea is that lots of lovely people will all answer the same questions and link up to each other allowing you, and me, to meet some new creative folk." First, I would encourage you to pop over, meet Nina and see the work she does on her blog. Her photography. photography tips and are reflections of her thoughtfulness!
Now, in order for someone to participate, here's what was involved:
1. Thank the person who invited you to participate so...
First and foremost I want to acknowledge Nina from Thoughts and Images Along The Way who invited me to participate in the tour. It is an opportunity to meet others find out what makes them tick, expanding our horizons.
2. Then simply had to share some information about myself by answering the following questions:
1. What am I working on? Right now there are several things I am "working" on, although I don't consider it work. Sure I get worn out just like anyone else but to me, what I do is more like FUN!! And that, my friends is the key...never stop having FUN regardless of what you're working on. Eagle watching and reporting their nesting activity to CT's Division of Wildlife, exploring and learning new things about the world around me, kayaking at new locations~trying new things are adventures and hey, why not? and of course, gardening endeavors~always working on improving and bettering our space here in A Quiet Corner let alone meeting new friends, keeping the old ones and making them smile along the way.
2. How does my work differ from others of its genre?
Lisa of Two Bears and Three Cubs, who introduced me to the world of blogging and continues to inspire me by her generosity, acute sense of child rearing, sound judgement and intrinsic stamina.
Karen of This Old House Too, who not only is an active and devoted mother and maintains a beautiful home but also always finds the time and energy to devote to saving dogs because she sees love in everything.
Katherine of Katherines Corner, who always has a smile, good sound advice and is a caring host of her weekly meme, Katherine's Corner~Favorite Things who always has something nice to say to everyone!

2. How does my work differ from others of its genre?
I really don't think of blogging as work. Introduced to blogging back in 2010 thanks to Two Bears and the Three Cubs, it became an outlet. Never did I realize it would introduce me to the world it has, meeting people all over the United States, Canada, Australia and Europe. It is something I enjoy and look forward to unless, of course, I incur technical difficulties. Then I get frustrated and annoyed like anyone else!
3. Why do I write/create what I do?
3. Why do I write/create what I do?
Being a people person, I love to make people smile. They are why I do what I do, they are why I write and they are why I share. If one post makes just one person smile, then it is worth it to me...:)
4. How does your writing/creating process work?
4. How does your writing/creating process work?
It doesn't take much to get my spirit (LOL, my BFF calls it "my creative juices") in the mood. Life excites me and I've always had a vivid imagination. So, what is routine and mundane to others is often sheer joy to me. A falling feather becomes a ray of hope for me! Do you see what I mean? There are signs given to us each day...signs that we need to look at as opportunities for happiness and success.

3. Lastly, I had to invite three fellow bloggers to participate. This was the fun and easy part.
So this is where you have the opportunity to start your tour. Next Monday, June 16th, these three very creative individuals will continue the tour, answering the same questions I just did as well as invite three bloggers each.
