Sand Like Sugar
For those who know me, you know I love meeting people wherever I go and vacation was no exception. On another one of my morning walks on the beach, I saw a man in the distance playing with his dogs.
I couldn't resist. First of all, the dogs. Second, the man was a local and I love meeting and chatting with the locals!
Approaching with my camera in hand, I asked if I could take a picture or two of the dogs. He had three. A small (Chihuahua...very spoiled!!!!), a medium (a Cocker Spaniel who was my favorite and LOVED to swim in the ocean), and a large ( a 10 month old mixed breed learning the ropes from the older two).
Agreeing to pose for me with "the baby, I snapped his pic. Meanwhile the Cocker had gone for yet another swim. Exiting the water and heading our way, he trotted up closer to the hut and rolled in the sand, giving him the appearance of having sugar sprinkled all over his face!
Isn't he just darling?
