The Real Truth

Not all adventures here in A Quiet Corner are mine.  According to Moon and Copper, there's a few facts I need to share with you about the babysitter.  She apparently had a few adventures herself while we were away.  For instance...

The first day she was here, she locked herself out of the house.  Yep!  The housekey was in the house in her purse.  The garage door opener was in her car.  Her car was in the garage.  The garage door was shut.  She went downstairs to let the lids out.  The door shut behind her and there she was...with the dogs...out in the pouring rain!

In her PJ's and fluffy slippers (which she discovered, absorb water really well), it was a blessing she had her cell phone.  She texted me in Aruba.

One small problem though.  My cell phone and text messaging wasn't working because I disabled the data function to avoid roaming charges.  When we checked into our resort, I emailed her telling her we landed safely using that oh so slow WiFi...the one that lost connection every time the wind blew!!! (Did you know that there is a constant wind in Aruba...from the easterly tradewinds?)
