Past Season

It was -8 with the wind chill.

Deciding on the spur of the moment that he wouldn't mind hand-me-downs, I went onto the closet and grabbed the top of an older pair of polartec jammies.

  I don't need them, he does, I thought.

The top worked out just fine and  kept him a little warmer in the sub-zero temps especially with the arms tied around his chest.  

With her thick shepherd/husky coat, Moon wandered through the yard totally impervious to the cold.

The boy, on the other hand, will be sporting my hand-me-downs until the temps get back up to normal and I get out to get him his own coat.  

Sporting the last season's polar bear and snowflake design, I think he looks rather dashing, don't you?
