It's All in the Eggs

That's what the Benson's said to me as they handed me several dozen duck eggs before we left Tia Chi last week. 

 "JP, they are great for baking."

Thus far, they, both the Bensons and the eggs, have proved to be true because the Lemon Bars I made came out THE BEST ever!!!

Look at the size compared to the Jumbos in our frig!!

Quite a bit of baking has been accomplished this past week.  This year I decided that variety rather than quantity will be the driving force.  So rather than each family getting four or five dozen of one kind, they will simply get a dozen of one kind...just a lot more kinds.

Change is good...:)
