HO! HO! HO!

'Twas the night before Christmas

And all through the house

Not a creature was stirring

Not even a mouse!

All the stockings were hung by the chimney with

     care

In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there

While I my jammies and the Pres in his cap

Had just settled down for our long Winter's nap.

But out on the roof there arose such a clatter

We hopped out of bed to see what was the matter.

Moon and Copper were barking and just wouldn't stop

And there in the yard was a huge pile of  "plop!"

It had come from the reindeer letting out a big neigh

With Santa in tow holding on to the sleigh!

"Gifts come in all sizes " said he, driving out of sight

Merry Christmas to YOU and to all a goodnight!
