What Once Was

Coming across the remains of a campfire, I envisioned the orange/red glow of flames crackling in the air with occasional puffs of smoke vanishing in the a cool evening breeze.  Then, reality took hold and I saw what is...embers out.

I always used to love a good fire. Of course an unattended one that hasn't been properly put out is a recipe for danger.
